What Will Be Liverpool’s Dream Attacking Lineup For Klopp’s First Full Season At Anfield?

The next season is going to be an epic showdown in the Premier League not between the players, but between the Super managers that are set to grace the league. The likes of Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho,Antonio Conte and the existing likes of Klopp and Wenger is the stuff that makes football such a beautiful game. The press conferences, battles on the touchline makes next season’s wait unbearable.

Along with that many exciting new talents will join their squad and the reds have to make a statement and a big signing to flag off the Klopp era and make Liverpool challenging for the top again. With no European competitions next term, there will be no excuse for another season in the wilderness out of Europe and a top four finish is must for next season.

Liverpool have a plethora of attacking talents in the squad, but sometimes in games, the Reds have lacked that spark that can take the team to the finishing line. A big name will increase hope and make the reds more dangerous going forward so, let’s take a look at the dream attack that Liverpool can have next campaign :

Left wing: Philippe Coutinho

Though Coutinho is being targeted PSG, it seems he won’t be sold cheaply and that means he will stay for at least one more year. Coutinho is a player who can turn the game on its head single handedly and has won reds many games. Coutinho can be a threat against any team, but he will need to be more consistent next season.

Attacking midfield: Mario Gotze

Gotze can be the missing piece in the jigsaw for Liverpool to taste glory again. The 23 year old is a world class player and can be a Red for not that big a price. But this deal will drag long as Gotze has stated that he wants to impress Munich’s new boss Ancellotti but the club has made it clear that the German doesn’t have a future at the club. The trio of Gotze, Coutinho and Firmino can read apart any defense and Gotze will become a fan favorite in no time.

Right wing: Roberto Firmino

Firmino answered his critics after having a stellar first season at Anfield. Now that he is settled, a season of more goals and more assists is expected, and one thing is for certain, if Liverpool have to finish in the top four, Firmino needs to have a big season.

These three will play a free roaming role as both the Brazilians are not wingers, but the trio as a whole can be dangerous from any position behind the striker.

Striker: Daniel Sturridge

Despite his injuries, he is the best striker that Liverpool have. Sturridge was the highest scorer for the Reds and if he is injury free for a long period of time, Sturridge can challenge for the golden boot and if the trio and Sturridge click fast, Liverpool can really challenge for the title next season.
