Various reports have emerged regarding Barcelona’s interest in Phillipe Coutinho and now in a counter response Liverpool are reportedly interested in Thomas Vermaelen and Tello.
Vermaelen joined Barcelona from Arsenal in 2014 but has hardly managed any game time in two seasons having played a total of 20 games. Blighted by injuries and lack of fitness, the player may move out of the Catalan club and Liverpool are interested in the Belgian. West Ham are also interested in the former Arsenal captain and Liverpool may have to fight the Hammers to land him.
In another report Marca has revealed that Liverpool are showing serious interest in Cristian Tello of Barcelona. The player has been loaned out for the last two seasons and has not played for Barcelona in that time period. Jurgen Klopp is interested in snapping up the winger to add more depth to the team even though Fiorentian, where he was playing last season on loan, is in the running for his signature.
