Liverpool’s Joe Allen is destined to leave the Reds this summer and after watching his displays for Wales in the European Championship, the Merseysiders have reportedly rated him at £14 million, according to the reports Daily Mail.
If reports are to be believed then the player’s former club, Swansea City are interested in signing the player back into the squad however, their first bid of £8m for the player has already been rejected by the Reds.
Allen has fallen down the pecking order at the Reds under German manager Jurge Klopp where Emre Can, James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana are higher up in the pecking order than Allen in the manager’s plans for the squad.
The player’s move out of the club is the best option he as to add more game time in his career which is sure to reduce if he stays at the Anfield next season.
