It has been a week or two since the Reds have been linked with Newcastle midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum and as of now Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is very serious about bringing the player into the squad this summer.
The Reds are determined to sign the player and are willing to do all that they need to do to land Wijnaldum into the squad. The Reds are reportedly preparing a £25m bid for the player, however, according to the reports from the Daily Mail, Newcastle is keen on a cash plus player deal for letting the player go this summer.
Newcastle were earlier keen on landing Jordan Ibe before he completed his move to Bournemouth and reports suggest that the German manager is willing to offer a fringe player to the Magpies so as to land Wijnaldum.
The Reds got a further boost in pursuing the Dutch International as the player too is keen on a move to the Anfield as he is looking to return to Premier League football and his preferred destination is Liverpool.
