Liverpool have brought in seven new players in the squad this summer and have ended their pre-season tour of the USA with a defeat in the hands of AS Roma on Tuesday morning.  However, the transfers are not yet over at the Anfeild.

Liverpool midfielder Luis Alberto is set to head out of the Reds this summer, however, his former club Sevilla backed out of the race to resign as they are not willing to meet the player’s £6m price tag. However, QPR, Wolves and Aston Villa have joined the race to sign the 23 year old player. Alberto created 32 chances in La Liga last season on loan at Deportivo.

According to the reports from Gazzetta Di Parma, the Reds manager is keen on signing Mattia Di Sciglio from AC Milan. The player is rated at £16m and will be a good addition to support Nathaniel Clyne and Alberto Moreno. De Sciglio won 31/44 headers in Serie A last season. He has being approached by Napoli as well, but looking at the concrete interest of Liverpool, it seems like the defender might make his way to Anfield

Midfielder Allan Rodrigues has caught attention of Hertha Berlin manager Pal Dardai who wants to take the player on loan. The Brazilian player has been on trial with the Bundesliga side and his form during the friendly over the weekend left Pardai impressed.
