Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has attracted interest from Galatasaray for some time now and if reports are to be believed then the Turkish outfit has increased their efforts to sign the player this summer.
Leiva is currently recovering from a hamstring injury but reports suggest that the player has started running again at the Red’s training base at St Louis.
While Galatasay are looking to sign the player and are offering a chance for a regular first team football, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not keen on letting go of the player. Klopp was impressed by the player for his form last season and regards him as a valuable player for the squad.
Even though Klopp is keen on keeping the player in the squad, he does accept that the offer from Galatasaray may be more tempting for the Brazilian midfielder as the German manager will nto be able to offer the player a regular first team football.
The Turkish club has been in contact with the Reds for some time now, however it remains to be seen as to where the whole link-up may be heading to.
