Done Deal – Liverpool Complete £43,000 First Summer Signing For Highly Rated 16-Year Old Bosnian

Liverpool have agreed to a professional contract with Dal Varesanovic, who has turned 16. The Reds seem to have had an agreement with the Bosnian wonder kid that once he turned 16, a contract would be signed and it looks like it has happened. It was revealed by the Daily Mirror

Varesanovic had played for FC Sarajevo but will move to Merseyside permanently for a fee of £43,000 and begin working under Steven Gerrard for the Under-18s.

Dal is capable of playing on the left and on the right but is most comfortable in a central, attacking midfield position.

The teenager is technically outstanding and it looks like we have done ourselves a great favour by signing this 16-year old kid, who seems to be a gifted player.

Certainly, he won’t be a part of the first team anytime soon, but Jurgen Klopp is someone who always nurtures young talents and it was evident from the way he has used Ben Woodburn and Trent Alexander-Arnold this season. Both the academy youngsters had a great breakthrough season and so Dal Varesanovic will get his chance too if he is good enough.

This will be a huge motivation for all our youngsters, many of whom will be involved in pre-season fixtures for Klopp’s team.
