Liverpool might have signed Virgil van Dijk recently, smashing a transfer record for defenders, but we struggled a lot to defeat Leicester City, even though there was an air of excitement at Anfield.
Things didn’t get off to the best start as we conceded a sloppy goal right at the start of the game but then our domination began. We absolutely hammered the away side but just could not get things right as time and again, Mohamed Salah and the likes were thwarted.
The half-time score was 1-0 to the away side and it seemed this was going to be another story of what could have been. Things, however, changed in the second half as two great finishes from Salah sealed the game for us and even though Leicester tried to get the equaliser, we held the fort and ensured we finished this gameweek in 4th place.
Twitter went crazy, as usual, over the performance of the Egyptian, and here are some of the best reactions to the game.
