Liverpool are back in Premier League action as they face Crystal Palace on Saturday. Prior to the international break, the Reds thumped Watford 5-0 at Anfield. It would be lovely too see something similar at Selhurst Park.

Liverpool have been handed a double boost after Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino both didn’t play a part in their international friendlies on Tuesday.

However, Andy Robertson will be evaluated as he hobbled off midway through the second half of Scotland’s 1-0 win in Hungary.

Both Emre Can and Joe Gomez were released early from national duty due injuries. While Can is carrying a back problem, Gomez has been ruled out of the Palace trip with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Dejan Lovren remains just a yellow card away from a one-game suspension.

Loris Karius (GK)

Karius is the club’s No.1 and that should stay the same against Crystal Palace as well.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

Matip is slowly getting back into the groove and will be hoping to put in a strong display on Saturday.

Fresh from being named as the Netherlands skipper, Van Dijk will look to continue his good form for Liverpool.

With Robertson a doubt for the weekend’s game, Klopp could hand Alberto Moreno a start. Due to Robertson’s brilliant form, Moreno has been out of the picture at Anfield. But the Spaniard would be raring to go against Palace.

Jordan Henderson (CDM)

Henderson remains as one of Klopp’s trusted men and he will start as a part of the midfield three.

Gini Wijnaldum (CM)

Wijnaldum has been out of favour at Anfield and recently recovered from an infection that saw him miss a few matches. However, after putting in a fine display for the Oranje in the 3-0 win over Portugal on Monday, the 27-year-old will look to get back his mojo soon.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (CM)

Chamberlain has settled in well at Anfield. With Can being doubtful for the game, expect the ex-Arsenal man to start against Palace.

Mohamed Salah (RW)

The man who just can’t stop scoring for Liverpool, Salah will be our biggest attacking outlet on Saturday. The Egyptian is brimming with confidence and looks unstoppable.

Sadio Mane (LW)

Mane hasn’t been at his devastating best this season but following Coutinho’s departure, has stepped up his game. On his day, he can single-handedly torment the opposition.

Roberto Firmino (ST)
