Liverpool hoping to have Klopp’s departed assistant back at Anfield

Liverpool are currently without the services of assistant manager Zeljko Buvac, who walked out of the club yesterday in a temporary move. However, Sky Sports claims that the club is hopeful that he will return to his job soon.

Buvac has taken this temporary hiatus due to personal reasons, according to Sky Sports. The 56-year-old has been by Jurgen Klopp’s side through several highs and lows in his career so far but the pair is understood to be going through a rough patch.

Sky Sports has gone on to claim that Buvac has stepped away after a disagreement with Klopp but maintain that Liverpool are unperturbed and looking forward to having him back.

The timing of the entire situation is a tad unfortunate since we have a crucial Champions League second-leg semi-final clash against AS Roma coming up. To make matters worse, we face Chelsea next in the Premier League and that game is important for us to secure our spot in the top-four.

To go through all this without Buvac is likely to take a toll on the rest of the team. Buvac has been Klopp’s right-hand man for a long time now and Sky Sports has also gone on to claim that our gaffer had nicknamed him ‘the brain’.

That goes on to show how important Buvac is for Klopp as well as Liverpool and although we will miss his services for the upcoming games, let’s hope he sorts out his differences and gets back to Anfield in no time.
