Liverpool have been handed a boost in their chase of Bordeaux winger Malcom as the player’s agent has stated that the Brazilian has not signed for Inter Milan.
The Italian giants were reportedly close to signing the 21-year-old but agent Fernando Garcia has poured cold water onto these rumours and was quoted by the Daily Star as saying,
“There’s no deal at all with Inter. The buy-back must be mandatory, otherwise Bordeaux will keep on saying no.”
The agent added more fuel to the fire by claiming that he couldn’t say where his client would be playing next season.
“I’m definitely not able to state where my client’s future is going to be, at this time.”
The 21-year-old did have a good season with the Ligue 1 side as he scored 12 times and provided 7 more assists in 35 league games. He is worth £44m. The report claims that Chelsea have held talks with Garcia as well.
While the Brazilian is a talented player, it would be difficult seeing him slot straight into our first-team, especially with an attack that contains the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

He is a decent option plan B to have but the problem would be his reported price of £44m and also the fact that Bordeaux want a buy-back clause included in any deal.
