James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo is the latest journalist to claim that the Reds have made their move to sign Alisson from AS Roma.
Liverpool have been linked with the Brazil goalkeeper throughout the summer and Pearce stated that the bid for the 25-year-old is £62m.
While the bid will be broken into an up-front fee and add-ons, this will come as big news for us as bringing in a goalkeeper could be the final piece of our puzzle.
The 25-year-old was one of the best keepers in Europe last season and it will be interesting to see how we go about but if we can somehow get him, it will certainly be a major coup for us all.
The Liverpool fans were certainly excited by this news and here are their reactions to the same.
