James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo has tweeted about Liverpool’s transfer plans for the final day of the window and the journalist claimed that the Reds will not be signing any players in the window.
Pearce did, however, claim that a few players could leave the side in the final hours of the window.
Liverpool have signed four players in the summer window, with Alisson, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri coming in but Pearce believes there will be no more new signings for the Reds.
Liverpool have been training hard for the first game of the season against West Ham on Sunday and look to be in fine form, especially after their performance in pre-season.
The Reds only suffered one loss during their whirlwind pre-season fixtures and even saw some great performances from the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge.
While it would be a bit of a blow if we really do not sign anyone today, we have done a pretty good job of getting our targets early on.
The Liverpool fans also had their say about the tweet from Pearce and here are some of the reactions
