“It only hurts more to read”, “It ain’t over” – Some Liverpool fans upset over latest quotes of £53million failed signing

Nabil Fekir

Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir has claimed that he has moved on from the failed Liverpool

transfer, as per the Daily Mail.

The report claims that the World Cup winner was set for a £53million move to Anfield in the summer but the deal was stopped amid concerns regarding a long-term knee problem.

The 25-year-old was quoted by the Daily Mail:

“What happened with Liverpool is straight out of my head, I turned the page.

“We must not stop at this, we must move forward. There are things that must be accepted.”

The Frenchman didn’t confirm anything about his future, however, and kept his options open.

“My future? We have not discussed an extension yet, we will see what happens.”

Fekir could have been a quality player for us but some things aren’t meant to be. Liverpool have started the season brightly with four wins from four games and have strengthened their side too.

A number of Liverpool fans were a little upset regarding his comments while some believed the Frenchman would join us soon.
