Daniel Sturridge possibly scored the goal of the season for Liverpool as we came out with a point against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Reds were trailing after an Eden Hazard goal in the first half and missed a number of quality chances to draw level.
The Englishman had come on as a second-half substitute and smacked home the equalizer in the 89th minute to ensure we kept our unbeaten Premier League run going.
The forward claimed that this was one of his best goals ever while speaking to BT Sport (h/t ESPN).
“We created a lot of chances in the first half and we were unlucky not to score in the first half. But it was a nice goal at the end for myself.
“I’d like to think [I’ve scored better goals], but probably not. This one was a nice goal. As I said, it was just about getting the result.
“It’s a team game and I just give my best [in] any minutes I get. It’s just important to keep pushing forward, having a positive outlook on everything going on and it’s been good far.”
The forward now has four goals to his name and seems to be in great form in the ongoing campaign, even though he has been restricted to coming off the bench.

Sturridge is one of the best finishers in the Premier League but his fitness has always been a problem. Hopefully, Jurgen Klopp and the medical team can keep the Englishman injury-free for the remainder of the campaign and Sturridge can continue scoring goals.
