Liverpool provided more time between games during Christmas period than rivals

Liverpool have been handed a fixture boost due to television scheduling during the festive period, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The report claims that the Reds play four games during the Christmas period and have the largest gap between the first and last games.

The Reds have 312 hours between their first and last game, as per the report

. Liverpool face Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Arsenal and Manchester City from 21 December to 3 January and no other team has this big a gap.

Our title rivals are not as lucky as us with Manchester City having 293 hours between the four games, Chelsea have 268 hours, Spurs have 217 hours while Manchester United have 266 hours, as per the report

Our Merseyside rivals, Everton, are the worst off as they play four games in a span of 212 hours.

Liverpool have been on the short end of the schedule a number of times, and once we played two games in a period of 48 hours. The Reds have started the season well with six wins and two draws from their opening Premier League fixtures.

The Reds are tied with Chelsea and Manchester City at the top of the table, and our next game is against Huddersfield post the international break.
