Liverpool didn’t get Nabil Fekir in the summer window but the Frenchman is willing to leave Lyon in the summer, according to L’Equipe (h/t Express).
The French attacker was close to joining us in the summer, but the move fell through due to fitness concerns, as per the report.
The attacker went on to win the World Cup with France and stuck with Lyon this season. The report claims that Bayern Munich and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old.
The Frenchman has a contract at Lyon till 2020 but admitted that talks over a new deal haven’t progressed.
The attacker was quoted by the Express saying:
“What happened with Liverpool is straight out of my head, I turned the page.
“We must not stop at this, we must move forward. There are things that must be accepted.
“My future? We have not discussed an extension yet, we will see what happens.”
