Liverpool have been handed a couple of boosts ahead of their clash against Fulham on Sunday. A release from the club confirmed that Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita were fit for selection against the Cottagers.
Henderson had missed our last four games while Keita had missed our last five. Jurgen Klopp was happy to have the pair back and said (h/t Liverpool FC):
“It’s good to have them back, it’s probably the first time that all midfield players apart from Ox are available.
“That’s then another thing to do, making decisions, who starts with who, stuff like that. It’s all about then fitness level, form, shape, whatever and then we will see.”
The German added that there are no other injury concerns for the Reds as they look to bounce back from their shock 2-0 loss against Red Star Belgrade in midweek.
This is Liverpool’s final game before the international break and with the pair back, a number of fans were happy the captain was ready to start games.
