Borussia Dortmund have provided an update on Christian Pulisic’s future. The American has been linked with a move to Liverpool (h/t Mirror) but Michael Zorc, the Dortmund sporting director, has now spoken out.
Zorc told Kicker (h/t Mirror):
“We’ve known these rumours for many years.
“We’re planning to continue with him at least until the end of the season.
“We will still need Christian significantly.”
Pulisic will be out of contract in 2020 and signing him would certainly make our attack better. The American recently claimed he could play in the Premier League, and the report adds that Chelsea are also interested in the 20-year-old.
Pulisic has helped Dortmund to an unbeaten start in the Bundesliga and the team sit on top of the league.
Jurgen Klopp knows the player from his time at Dortmund, and hopefully, his links with the club can help us sign the 20-year-old sensation.
Pulisic hasn’t started too many games for the Bundesliga giants this season due to the emergence of Jadon Sancho.
The former Manchester City youngster has been in exceptional form since joining the Bundesliga giants, and even played for the national side during the recent international break.

The American still has three goals and four assists from all competitions this season. It will be interesting to see if Dortmund keep their promise of holding onto their star till the end of the season.
