“I have nothing to say about that” – Jurgen Klopp refuses to open up about Mohamed Salah’s celebrations against Watford

Mohamed Salah scored the first goal in our hard-fought 3-0 win over Watford. The Hornets were more than a match for Liverpool in the opening 45 minutes, but our clash finally showed in the second half where we scored all three goals.

The Egyptian’s first-time finish was enough to beat Ben Foster in the Watford goal, and Salah celebrated by making a butterfly with his hands.

The Independent reports that this celebration could have poked fun at Sergio Ramos. The Real Madrid defender was caught in a storm as the Spaniard tested positive for dexamethasone, which is banned unless testers have been told about its use, as per the report.

Jurgen Klopp was asked about the celebration, and the Independent quoted the German saying:

“I have nothing to say about that.”

The German instead wanted to speak about the performance and praised the team for getting the three points from a tough away trip.

Salah and Ramos have had their issues in the past with the Spaniard injuring the Egyptian in last season’s Champions League final.

Another Liverpool player, Dejan Lovren, also came into the fore with a verbal battle with the Real Madrid defender in recent weeks.

It was a little weird seeing Salah celebrate in this manner as this wasn’t his normal celebration. If this was a dig at Ramos, we wouldn’t mind as the Spaniard has done his bit in making life tough for the Reds.
