Huddersfield have emerged as an option for Liverpool star Dominic Solanke, according to the Metro. The 21-year-old is yet to feature in a senior game for the Reds this season but has been impressive for the England U21 recently.
The former Chelsea star only has six starts to his name since joining from the Blues last season, and the report
claims that Huddersfield want to sign the striker on loan in the January window. The youngster is behind Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order at Anfield, but he needs to play regular games to continue his development.
A loan move would be ideal for all parties but we have to ensure Solanke gets a certain number of starts for any club he joins.
On-loan star Ben Woodburn has struggled for starts at Sheffield United, and the report adds that Galatasaray and Rangers are also interested in a loan deal for Solanke.
Huddersfield boss David Wagner is a close friend of Klopp, and that could help the deal take place. The Terriers manager also had taken former Liverpool keeper Danny Ward on loan as he helped Huddersfield gain promotion from the Championship.
Rangers would be a decent option too with Steven Gerrard as their manager, and they already have Ryan Kent on loan from the Reds.
