Alisson Liverpool

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson celebrated the Merseyside derby win with Jurgen Klopp wildly after Divock Origi scored, and the keeper had something else to celebrate on Monday in Milan.

The former AS Roma man was in the Italian city to pick up the award for the best Serie A goalkeeper from last season, as per the Daily Mail.

Alisson signed for Liverpool from the Rome side in the summer and has had a fantastic start to the campaign. The 26-year-old has conceded just five goals from 14 games and has helped us to second in the Premier League.

The Brazilian shared an image from the ceremony on his Twitter account too.

The 26-year-old had a great season for Roma last time around and kept 17 clean sheets from 37 league games (h/t Daily Mail).

The Brazilian even helped the Serie A giants to a semi-final spot in the Champions League but they were defeated by Liverpool at that stage.

Alisson seems to be getting better with each game under his belt for the Reds, and hopefully, he will keep more clean sheets in the coming years.

Our keeper was excellent in the 1-0 win over the Toffees at the weekend and has to be at the top of his game as we play four games in less than two weeks.
