Sky Sports (h/t Daily Star) reports that Juventus are interested in signing Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey. The Welsh midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and the report claims the 27-year-old will leave the Gunners in the summer.
Liverpool have been linked (h/t Daily Star) with the midfielder but face competition from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
The report adds that the Reds targetted the Welshman in the summer and will move for him again. Ramsey is free to discuss terms and sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs in the winter window and Juventus have a habit of getting quality players on the cheap.
They did that with Andrea Pirlo and Sami Khedira, and Liverpool lost Emre Can on a free transfer to the Turin giants at the start of the season.
Liverpool have previously conducted business with Arsenal as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joined the club last season. The Reds can tempt the Gunners to sell Ramsey in a cut-price winter deal as he would leave the Gunners for free in the summer.
Ramsey would provide more ammunition to a packed midfield at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp has used all the players he has at hand this season.
Fabinho, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum have all started in recent weeks while Adam Lallana has been subbed on in a couple of games.
