Former Premier League star Michael Brown claims that Liverpool are an attractive option for European clubs under Jurgen Klopp.

The German manager has turned us into one of the most exciting teams and we sit pretty on top of the Premier League.

The Reds are unbeaten after 18 games and hold a four-point lead over nearest rivals Manchester City. Brown was speaking to the BBC (h/t Express) and even spoke about some of the players in the side:

“I think Liverpool have now turned a corner, they’ve become attractive. A couple of years ago they were in that lull where there was going to be lots of change.

“I think now with that manager in Klopp and the players they’ve got, Virgil van Dijk, we’re talking Mo Salah, Philippe Coutinho moves on – I think they’re now attractive.

“A player in Europe will be thinking: ‘I fancy joining Liverpool, I can see what they’re doing.’ And the style, it’s so attractive to play for him, the way he is and you just like him. You would like to work for him.”

Brown did suggest that Manchester City are better than us when they play to their best ability, however, they have not done that regularly, with the loss against Crystal Palace being one of the shock results this season.

Liverpool certainly have become a great option for other players but we have brought the right people into the club too.

Almost every signing from Klopp has turned out to be fantastic and hopefully, the German keeps picking the right players to come to Anfield.
