Liverpool have been handed another boost in their chase for Christian Pulisic as Bayern Munich have switched their attention from the 20-year-old, according to the Mirror.

Although the Bundesliga giants have tracked Pulisic for 18 months, the report claims that Bayern believe the American would prefer to move to England and Borussia Dortmund would prefer to sell him to a foreign club.

The report adds that the Bundesliga champions have earmarked Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen as a target for 2019. Bayern have an ageing squad and are looking to overhaul the side by signing Havertz.

The 19-year-old German international is having an excellent season with Leverkusen, having scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists in all competitions.

The report claims that Dortmund could sell Pulisic for the right price in January, and the American has just 18 months left on his current deal.

The winger hasn’t started too many games this season with Jadon Sancho taking the limelight at Dortmund. Pulisic has just three goals and two assists for the Bundesliga giants but has the potential to become one of the best in the world.

The report adds that Chelsea are also interested in the Dortmund winger, but Klopp might have a bit of an edge given his history with the Bundesliga giants.

The German also knows the American from his time at the club, and hopefully, that helps us sign the talented attacker.
