Jurgen Klopp Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool contract ends in 2022 (h/t Mirror) and the German doesn’t want to think too much into the future as his Reds lead the Premier League.

The German is yet to win a trophy for us despite coming close on three occasions. Speaking to Sky Sports (h/t Mirror), our manager spoke about his contract and also the fact that we are yet to pick up silverware under him:

“I don’t want to think that far ahead. If you write that already, a lot of people will speak. Everything is good at the moment, but still, ‘Klopp didn’t win anything’.

“I haven’t won anything so that’s part of the truth, we don’t have to think about 2022, it’s a long way to go.”

The German highlighted another point where others will speculate about his future.

“In the summer, there will be people who say it’s the best time for me to go if we win something because we will never win anything again.

Our manager is one of the best in the world as he has transformed the club around. We are doing well, have excellent players and are growing under Klopp every season.

Should we continue developing as we have in recent years, there will be loads to celebrate at Anfield with Klopp in charge.
