Jurgen Klopp spoke before our FA Cup tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers and claimed Ki-Jana Hoever could play a part in the tie.
The Reds return to action after their first Premier League loss of the season, but Klopp is expected to rest a few players at Molineux.
Hoever joined Liverpool in September and has trained with the first-team. The manager admitted the youngster would not have been part of the side if the Joe Gomez and Joel Matip were fit but is one for the future.
The German further added that the defender is a “joy to watch” and is a good player (h/t Metro):
“It is just a joy to watch him. He is an incredible, confident young fella and is really a good player on top of that. It’s nice we can see him day in, day out. It’s really cool.
“He is for sure for the future, but when the future starts I don’t know. But he is in and he learns a lot and improves a lot, it will happen automatically.
“It’s a nice prospect for the next months and years. Wolves? I don’t know, we will see.”
Liverpool should make changes as our priority has to be the Champions League and the Premier League. We possibly have the toughest FA Cup draw compared to the top six in the Premier League, and playing some youngsters will bear fruits later on.
Simon Mignolet and Alberto Moreno are set to start for the Reds as we mix things up against Wolves.

Hoever is certainly a player to keep an eye on, and it will be interesting to see if the German gives the right-back some time on the pitch at Molineux, irrespective of how the game goes.
