Liverpool are amongst a trio of clubs keeping an eye on Guingamp youngster Dominique Youfeigane, according to Foot Mercato (h/t Mirror).
The 18-year-old plays as a goalkeeper for the French club’s youth side, and recently picked up a U19 cap for Les Bleus.
The goalkeeper is also being watched by Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City, as per the report.
Liverpool have some quality young keepers in their side with Kamil Grabara being loaned out to AGF Aarhus in the winter window.
Loris Karius is another keeper out on loan at Besiktas, but the German has had his ups and downs during his short time at Anfield.
Youfeigane has a long way to go before he can dream of playing in our first-team, but it is a good move to constantly be on the lookout for the best young talent.
The Reds provide chances to their youngsters with the likes of Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold coming through the ranks at the academy.
We also saw three youngsters play valuable minutes in our 2-1 loss in the FA Cup against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Ki-Jana Hoever was the pick of the bunch and should be an exciting player in the years to come. The Reds should also be pleased with the development of Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic at Derby and Hertha Berlin, respectively.
The French keeper, Youfeigane, is too young to make a judgement call on, and it will be interesting to keep an eye on the player as he progresses up the ranks at Guingamp.
