Liverpool FC transfer news: Malcom a summer target for the Reds
Barcelona winger Malcom has emerged as a summer target for Liverpool, according to Le10Sport (h/t Liverpool Echo).
The 21-year-old joined the Catalans in the summer but has found starts hard to come by at the Nou Camp.
The Brazilian has three goals to his name all season for the Catalans but has just three starts, all of which came in the Copa del Rey.
The report adds that Tottenham and a host of Chinese clubs are interested in the 21-year-old, however, the La Liga giants are unwilling to sell the winger unless he wants a move away.
Malcom was one of the best wingers in Ligue 1, however, he is finding it tough to get regular minutes at Barcelona.
Liverpool could do with more attackers
The Reds don’t have enough quality cover for the forward line and the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi haven’t impressed enough in the limited minutes they have received this season.
The English striker is out of contract at the end of the campaign, and the Reds are thin on senior attackers after selling Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth in the winter window.
Although Malcom hasn’t done a lot at the Nou Camp, he could be a decent option to have on the bench. The Brazilian talented and performing under Jurgen Klopp could take him to another level.

The Reds were extremely busy in the previous summer transfer window, and it will be interesting to see what our plans are once the season ends.
