Liverpool FC transfer news: Liverpool interested in Lilian Thuram’s son, Khephren
The Daily Mail claims that Liverpool are interested in 17-year-old Khephren Thuram who plays for Monaco.
Khephren is the son of legendary defender Lilian Thuram, and the report adds that Chelsea and Juventus are also keeping tabs on the 17-year-old.
The report claims that Khephren could be available on the cheap in the summer as he has not signed professional terms with the Ligue 1 club.
Monaco are struggling in the league this season but the youngster made his senior debut in the Champions League, which was a disaster for the club. The club lies 16th in the table just two points above the safety zone.
The report adds that Thuram senior has rejected Monaco’s offers because he wants to help his son choose the right direction in his career.
The Daily Mail further adds that the English clubs are looking to take advantage of the situation at Monaco with the club in turmoil having sacked Thierry Henry and also saw Michael Emenalo leave.
