Latest Liverpool news: Trent Alexander-Arnold breaks assists record after Watford winnings
Trent Alexander-Arnold was playing on another level as Liverpool demolished Watford 5-0 at Anfield.
The win dispelled any thoughts of the Reds struggling to score as we could have had more than the five, and Alexander-Arnold had a role to play in three goals.
The English youngster provided three glorious crosses for Sadio Mane (twice) and Virgil van Dijk to score.
In fact, the Liverpool youngster created a bit of a record with his performance at Anfield on Wednesday.

Liverpool rampant with their full-backs
It wasn’t just TAA who picked up the assists as Andy Robertson got two from the game. The first one wasn’t great as Divock Origi did all the hard work by lashing in a shot, but the second one was a peach of a delivery to Van Dijk.
Both full-backs had excellent outings against the Hornets and proved how important they are to our style. This kind of attacking football from the full-backs was missing against Manchester United where we drew 0-0.
However, the Reds should have more confidence as they prepare for the trip to Goodison. Everton are also coming off a morale-boosting win in midweek but we should start the game as favourites.
Should the team play in the same manner as it did against Watford, Everton could be in for a drubbing.

However, a Merseyside derby is difficult to predict and it took a crazy moment for the game to be decided the last time these two teams met.
