Liverpool FC transfer news: Real Madrid’s interest in Kylian Mbappe could be good news for Reds
France Football via Marca (h/t Mirror) claims that Real Madrid are looking to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €280million.
The report claims that Mbappe is the No.1 target for Zinedine Zidane in the summer after the French manager returned to Real Madrid despite leaving a few months ago.
Real have struggled this season, and the report claims that the La Liga giants will launch ‘Operation Kylian Mbappe’ to sign the Frenchman.
Real could drop their interest in Mane
The report claims that signing Mbappe would be a huge ordeal for Real and that could see them end their interest in Liverpool star Sadio Mane.
The attacker has been in great form for the Reds and is one reason why we are in the race for the Premier League and Champions League.
The former Southampton attacker has 17 Premier League games this season and is one behind Sergio Aguero in the race for the Golden Boot.
The attacker has found the back of the net 11 times in his last 11 games and seems to have taken some pressure off Mohamed Salah when it comes to scoring goals.
Hopefully, Zidane keeps the pressure on signing Mbappe and can forget about Mane. Liverpool are in a great position with Jurgen Klopp making us one of the best in the world, and we just need a trophy to break the German’s duck.
