Liverpool FC transfer news: Everton claim Richarlison is not for sale despite rumours
Everton have reacted swiftly to deny reports that Richarlison could be on his way to Anfield, according to the Liverpool Echo.
UOL Esporte (h/t Liverpool Echo), a Brazilian outlet, claimed Richarlison’s representative, Renato Velasco, was a guest at Jurgen Klopp’s home recently.
The report adds that Velasco does not have any other clients in Europe but the Everton star is also represented by Kia Joorabchian.
The super agent is a close friend of Bill Kenwright and of Everton majority shareholder, Farhad Moshiri.
The 21-year-old Richarlison was brought to England by Velasco, but documents suggest that Sports Invest UK Ltd of Joorabchian helped facilitate bringing the Brazilian star (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Richarlison has been in decent form for the Toffees having scored 13 goals in all competitions this season.
The report adds that the Everton boardroom have no wish of selling the former Watford attacker, who is happy at Goodison.
Liverpool to make moves in the summer
The report claims that Liverpool are expected to move for an attacker in the summer with Daniel Sturridge’s contract ending this season and Divock Origi’s future uncertain.
The Englishman has fallen down the pecking order in recent weeks and Klopp has preferred to play Origi on the wings in certain games.
The Belgian came off the bench in our 2-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday and won us the corner that led to Toby Alderweireld’s own goal.

Origi also scored the winner in the Merseyside derby at Anfield when Jordan Pickford could not hold onto the ball.
