Liverpool target Julian Brandt (h/t Liverpool Echo) has spoken out about his future and will not rush into making a decision.
The German is one of the brightest talents in the Bundesliga and has four goals and 10 assists for Bayer Leverkusen this season.
The 22-year-old attacker can play in several positions and told Bild (h/t Liverpool Echo) that he will make a decision but not during the season:
“I will make up my mind, but not during the season.
“For me, the club and the present is too important.”
The German added that thinking about his future could affect his performances now and he did not want the club to suffer after all they had given him.
“It is something the club, who have given me confidence over the years, do not deserve.”
The report adds that Brandt has been linked with the Reds since Jurgen Klopp took over, and the 22-year-old has formed a great attacking trio at Leverkusen.
Kai Havertz and Leon Bailey have performed incredibly well this season, however, Leverkusen lie ninth in the Bundesliga and it would take a bit of a miracle for them to finish in the European places.
Liverpool have one of the best attacks in the world, but we could do with more cover for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Brandt is only 22 and has the potential to become one of the best in the world, and it will be interesting to see if he leaves the Bundesliga club in the summer.
