Latest Liverpool news: Reds gear up for huge Chelsea clash on Sunday

Liverpool prepare for their toughest remaining game of the season as they face Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Reds lead the Premier League, having played a game more than Manchester City and know they have to win all their remaining ties to have any chance of lifting the Premier League.

Memories will remain fresh from the 2013-14 season when Chelsea defeated us at home and ended our hopes of winning the title, and we have to ensure a repeat does not take place.

Roberto Firmino scored an important goal against Tottenham and then against Porto, and the Brazilian was pictured training with the rest of the team.

The onus will also be on Mohamed Salah who broke his drought in front of goal with our second against Southampton.

The Egyptian didn’t beat Iker Casillas of Porto in midweek, but he needs to be at his best against his former club.

Keita showing his ability for the Reds

Naby Keita had a slow start to his Liverpool career but the Guinea midfielder now has two goals in as many games.

It will be interesting to see if he starts for the Reds, and another midfielder has been in decent form of late.

Jordan Henderson was fantastic against Porto and Southampton. The Liverpool captain needs to put in a great performance on Sunday too.

James Milner might get a start too and it will be interesting to see how our full-backs do against Chelsea.

The pair have been excellent this season and we are getting into the business end of the campaign.

There was more good news for the Reds as Joe Gomez

and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both participated in training.

Gomez was also on the bench for the clash against Porto and it will be interesting to see when the pair get to start for the Reds.

We drew with Chelsea earlier in the season at Stamford Bridge, but cannot afford to do the same this time around.
