Liverpool FC transfer news: Thorgan Hazard does not want a move to Liverpool
Liverpool are set to miss out on Belgian attacker Thorgan Hazard, according to Nieuwsblad (h/t Birmingham Mail).
The brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard, Thorgan has had a wonderful season for Borussia Monchengladbach and has 12 goals and 9 assists this season.
The 26-year-old can play in several positions in the final third, but the report claims that he will snub a move to the Reds for three reasons.
Hazard happy to stay in Germany
The 26-year-old was signed by Chelsea years ago but joined Monchengladbach on a permanent deal in 2015-16. Hazard has improved with each season in the Bundesliga, and the report claims that the Belgian is happy to stay in Germany.
The report adds that Hazard believes a move to Borussia Dortmund is a better prospect for him compared to the Reds.
The attacker is also unsure about his playing time at Anfield when compared to the Signal Iduna Park, according to the report.
The Reds have been excellent this season and it would be difficult for any player to break into the starting XI.
However, we could do with some competition for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. The pair are first and second, respectively, in the Premier League scoring charts.

The Reds could do with another attacking midfielder to provide more options next season, and it will be interesting to see our actions in the summer transfer window.
