Latest Liverpool news: Luis Suarez and Andy Robertson had a spat at half-time
Former Liverpool striker and current BT Sport pundit Michael Owen confirmed Andy Robertson and Luis Suarez had a spat during half-time in Barcelona’s 3-0 win over the Reds.
Suarez opened the scoring for the Catalans with Lionel Messi scoring a brace. However, the former Liverpool star did not hold back in his celebrations and was involved in mini scuffles with several players.
Robertson and Suarez exchanged words before the half-time break, and Owen confirmed the spat continued in the tunnel (h/t Daily Mail):
“There was still a bit of a commotion there, walking up the tunnel at half-time.
“Suarez having a bit of a go at Robertson, continuing that spat that there was in the first half.”
Liverpool have a huge mountain to climb
It will be difficult for the Reds to make it to a second successive Champions League final, and Messi was in great form, especially in the second half at the Nou Camp.
The Reds have pulled off some miracles under Jurgen Klopp and Anfield will back their heroes even though we trail by three goals.
Liverpool had their chances to score against Barcelona, and one goal would have made a huge difference in the tie.

We should start the game in full-attack mode but that would leave us open to counters from Barcelona, and we have to be wary of Suarez and company in a week’s time.
