Liverpool FC transfer news: Liverpool ready to bid for Fulham’s Cody Drameh

The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool are interested in Fulham youngster Cody Drameh.

Liverpool’s scouts are pleased with what they have seen, according to the report, and the Reds are preparing a bid for the 17-year-old.

The report claims that the England U18 star has one year left on his scholarship deal and Frankfurt are also interested in the right-back.

The youngster has been likened to Trent Alexander-Arnold, and the report claims that Drameh likes to bomb forward.

The Fulham starlet could be part of our youth setup and could play for the first-team in a couple of years. The Reds have several young defenders doing well in the side and we saw the two in action during the weekend.

Liverpool have several quality defenders

Trent has had a wonderful season for the Reds and assisted two goals in our 3-2 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.

Andy Robertson has been great as the left-back, and Joe Gomez had a wonderful start to the campaign alongside Virgil van Dijk.

Gomez’s injury curtailed his games in the second half of the campaign, but the Englishman has returned to the first-team.

Ki-Jana Hoever is another player that seems to have a bright future, and the Dutch defender plays as a right-back in our U23 side.

The Daily Mail claims that Hoever will be shifted to the centre-back role in the near future.
