Latest Liverpool news: Several fans want Harry Wilson to return after heroics at Derby County

Harry Wilson has been one of the success stories regarding our players away on loan this season.

The Welsh youngster joined Frank Lampard’s Derby County and has led them to the Championship playoffs where they face Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United.

Wilson has found the back of the net 15 times in the Championship and also recorded three assists for the Rams.

The 22-year-old also scored a memorable free-kick against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.

The youngster was on target as Derby beat West Bromwich Albion 3-1 and sealed their spot in the playoffs.

Wilson could lead Derby to the Premier League

The 22-year-old scored for the national side in the Nations League, and he could take the Rams all the way to the Premier League.

Derby have to beat Leeds over two legs before they play the winners of the Aston Villa-West Brom tie.

The Welsh attacker’s return to Anfield hasn’t been confirmed yet but he could do a great job coming off the bench.

Liverpool don’t have fantastic cover for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, something that Wilson could fix next season.

Several Liverpool fans were pleased with the exploits of Wilson and wanted the Welsh winger to play in Red soon.
