Liverpool face Tottenham in the Champions League final on 1st June, and the Reds have a lot of time to prepare for the game.
The Premier League season is done, with the Reds finished an agonising second to Manchester City.
The Reds came second and missed out on the title by one point, and the Mirror reports that Jurgen Klopp will give his players a five-day break.
The Reds were exceptional in the Premier League campaign, losing just one game all season, and won their final game 2-0 against Wolves.
The report adds that light recovery sessions took place on Monday and it will continue on Tuesday. The players will then be given five days off to recharge their batteries.
The Reds will meet next Monday for a week-long training camp at Costa del Sol in Spain, according to the report.
Jurgen Klopp had followed a similar routine last season before facing Real Madrid and also visited Costa del Sol before the clash against Bayern Munich this season, according to the Mirror.
The Reds will return to Liverpool for the week of the final before flying off to Madrid two days prior to the clash against Spurs.
Liverpool don’t have many injury concerns at the moment, apart from Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita.
The midfielder’s season seems to be over but Firmino could be fit to face Spurs on 1st June.
