Latest Liverpool transfer news: Reds want £15m for Nathaniel Clyne
Liverpool want £15m for English right-back Nathaniel Clyne, according to Sky Sports.
The 28-year-old Englishman played the second half of this season at Bournemouth on loan and recorded just one Premier League start for us in the first half of the campaign.
The report adds that Bournemouth are interested in making the deal permanent but face competition from West Ham and Crystal Palace.
Clyne made 15 appearances for the Cherries this season and if we get £15m for the Englishman, it would be another fantastic deal pulled off by the Reds since Michael Edwards took over as sporting director.
Reds pull off some great deals
Danny Ings moved to Southampton initially on loan and but the deal should net us at least £20million, according to the Telegraph.
The English striker has struggled with injuries at Anfield and barely played for us before joining the Saints.
Dominic Solanke left for at least £17m, according to the Guardian, despite not making a single appearance for us in the first half of the season.
Clyne would not get regular games for us in the coming campaign because of the rise of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez. The former Southampton star is a decent defender but his quality in the attacking third doesn’t match up to that of Trent.

Selling him for £15m would be a great deal given that Clyne doesn’t fit into the scheme of things at Anfield.
