Liverpool FC transfer news: Liverpool to decide on Harry Wilson’s fate after Championship play-off loss
The Liverpool Echo reports that Liverpool will take a call on Harry Wilson’s future as Derby County lost out in the Championship play-off final.
Wilson didn’t do all that well in the final as Aston Villa returned to the Premier League. Prior to the final, the Welsh attacker had claimed he would want to return to the Rams for another season (h/t Liverpool Echo).
However, the report claims that the Reds are considering letting Wilson leave on loan but only to another Premier League club.
Derby’s defeat increases the possibility of the player being sold, according to the report, with the Reds rating Wilson at £25million.
Loads of interest in Wilson
The Reds have pulled off some great sales in recent seasons and the report claims that Wolves, Newcastle, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are interested in the Welsh international.
There still is hope for Wilson as the report claims that Jurgen Klopp could evaluate him further in pre-season.
Liverpool could do with another winger coming into the team and providing cover to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. We have been a little fortunate regarding injuries as the pair have been fit for the majority of this season.
Wilson had a great season with Derby, scoring 18 goals and providing 4 assists in all competitions. The Welsh attacker can play on either flank or as a central attacking midfielder and at 22, he still has time to develop.

Wilson won’t start regularly at Anfield next season though, and it will be interesting to see what we do with him in the summer window.
