Liverpool FC transfer news: Reds enter race to sign Paris FC’s Silas Wamangituka

Portuguese outlet Jornal de Noticias (h/t Independent) claim that Liverpool are interested in Paris FC striker Silas Wamangituka.

The 19-year-old impressed for the Ligue 2 side as he scored 11 goals from 32 games.

The report adds that the Reds scouted Wamangituka earlier in the previous season and are now willing to bid for the youngster. There is a lot of interest in the young striker, with Barcelona, Braga and Marseille keeping tabs on Wamangituka.

Paris FC could not make it to the top division as they were defeated in the playoffs by Lens.

The youngster seems to have a bright future and it will be interesting to see if he is on the move in the summer.

Paris FC’s assistant manager spoke earlier in the season and claimed the club want to keep Wamangituka, however, a decent bid could see him leave.
