However, there were a few stars that missed large chunks of the season due to injuries.

Adam Lallana, Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain couldn’t play regularly in the second half of the season, and Klopp highlighted a special role for Rhian Brewster too.

The English youngster is highly-rated at Liverpool and is expected to play for the first-team soon.

Klopp was speaking to the club’s website and shared his thoughts on the four Englishmen (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“If Ox can stay fit – new player for us.

“Rhian the same; he is a really big talent. We’re really looking forward to seeing him in training and all that stuff. It will be an important role for us, we planned an important role for him. So, new player.

“Like Joe Gomez is pretty much a new player. Adam Lallana, new player.”

The German added that if the players remained fit for the next campaign, it would be a different feeling for the team.

The Reds have allowed Dominic Solanke, Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge to leave in the past season, and we have only Divock Origi as cover for Robert Firmino.

Brewster could be one of our surprises from the season, and it will be interesting to see how things develop with the English striker.
