Latest Liverpool news: Reds to tie-up with LeBron James’ media company

Front Office Sports (h/t Liverpool Echo) reports that Uninterrupted are set to partner with Liverpool.

Uninterrupted is one of LeBron James’ companies, and the basketball legend is a minority stakeholder at Liverpool.

The media company plans to share unique content with Liverpool fans and are known to create documentaries too (h/t Liverpool Echo).

The report adds that Uninterrupted plan to expand into Europe through football, and Ian Thomas added:

“The two sides have signed a content partnership and development deal that will include the development of several documentaries and series that feature both the club and its players.”

LeBron’s business partner, Maverick Carter, also spoke about what the deal could offer to Liverpool and its supporters (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“We are working on several content deals, documentaries and series, some with individual players, some with specific teams like Liverpool.”

The report adds that Billy Hogan, Liverpool’s chief commercial officer, confirmed that he was in communication with Carter, and the Reds were in conversation with Uninterrupted regarding the creation of content.

Liverpool have created documentaries before

Manchester City were featured in Amazon’s All or Nothing documentary while the Reds also had their six-part show done under Brendan Rodgers.

That show did not go down too well, especially the content regarding Rodgers and the usage of some envelopes after training. It will be interesting to see what kind of content is created via Uninterrupted.
