The Daily Mail reports that Championship side Leeds United will move for Ryan Kent after Kemar Roofe leaves.
The Leeds star is set to join Anderlecht for £7m
and should sign a three-year deal, and the report adds that Kent is the player they have earmarked to replace Roofe.Kent was one of the stars in Liverpool’s pre-season but will find it difficult to play games next season.
Liverpool have several attackers in the side with Harvey Elliott also joining in the summer. Harry Wilson is also with the team and did extremely well during the pre-season.
The report claims that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa wants to sign the 22-year-old Kent after Roofe’s departure.
The Argentine is looking for a winger and Jurgen Klopp wants to sell Kent in the summer (h/t Daily Mail).
The 22-year-old was on loan at Rangers last season and has been linked with a return but Klopp is not interested in sending Kent away on loan again (h/t Daily Mail).
Kent was named as the Scotland PFA Young Player of the Year and was impressive under Steven Gerrard.
A move to the Championship could be great for Kent given the quality of the league. Bielsa is also one of the top managers in the competition, and Leeds have started their campaign well.
Hopefully, we find the right club for the youngster so that his development continues.
