Sadio Mane shares goals for the season with Premier League title in sight

Sadio Mane has been on a meteoric rise since his move to Liverpool from Southampton.

The winger might not have been the biggest name when he signed from the Saints, but his relentlessness in front of goal and his hard work is bearing fruits now.

The Senegal international won the Premier League’s Golden Boot last season, alongside a couple of other stars, while he has started this season with a bang too.

The 27-year-old helped us win the Champions League last season and spoke about his aims for the current campaign.

Liverpool lead the Premier League after a perfect start with four wins from four, and Mane wants to win more trophies with the club while speaking to Complex:

“It’s very early to say of course, but our target, as everyone knows, is to win the league this season. We’re targeting the Champions League as well.”

The Senegal star also wants to win the Africa Cup of Nations with his national side but missed out on that feat by losing in the final this summer.
