Liverpool fear Jurgen Klopp could be approached by Germany for top job

Liverpool are worried that Jurgen Klopp could be vulnerable to an approach by Germany once Joachim Low leaves, according to the Mirror.

The Liverpool manager has turned us into one of the best teams in the world but has so far rejected management’s efforts to offer a new deal.

The report claims that the German could become one of the highest-paid managers if he accepts the deal. Klopp is happy at the club but still dreams of managing his country someday (h/t Mirror).

The German has three years left on his current deal but Liverpool owner John Henry wants Klopp to sign a new deal (h/t Mirror).

The former Borussia Dortmund and Mainz manager spent seven years at each of his former clubs, and he would spend the same amount of time at Anfield should he see out his current deal.

Klopp had spoken about taking a break once his current contract expires, similar to the break he took after his Dortmund spell.

Liverpool need Klopp to stay

Although the German is contracted for another three years, we should keep him for as long as possible.

The Reds have been relentless under Klopp and picked up their seventh straight Premier League win of the season.

The German helped us land the Champions League last time around, and hopefully, there is more success awaiting us in the coming months.
