The Bundesliga giants believe he can cover three positions in the team and are willing to offer him a new deal as his current contract ends in 2021 (h/t Sky Sports).

Muller would have been a great addition in the January window as he provides a lot of experience to the side.
The German has also won eight Bundesliga titles, and he would have provided cover for several positions at Anfield too.
However, it seems like he will remain at Bayern unless something changes in the coming weeks. Liverpool didn’t make any senior outfield signings in the summer, and it will be interesting to see if we strengthen in January.
