Jurgen Klopp has turned our fortunes around by making Liverpool a powerhouse once again.
The Reds won the Champions League in the previous season and Sadio Mane has been one of our best additions under the German but the Senegal international wasn’t sure about things working out for him.
The 27-year-old told the Sunday Times that Klopp’s loud nature was a concern for him (h/t Daily Mail
):“He was talking too much and I said, “Wow, this is going to be tough for me because I’m a little quiet'”.
The report claims that Klopp met Mane two years before he moved to Anfield. The Senegal star was at RB Salzburg then while the German was managing Borussia Dortmund.
Mane added that Klopp is a great guy and “everybody loves him”, which was important.
The Senegal star might not have been the biggest name when he signed for Liverpool, but he has become one of the best in the Premier League.
Klopp has turned most of our players in some of the best in the world.
Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Andy Robertson have also improved under the German, and we are glad to have the Senegal star at Anfield.
Mane shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the previous season and seems set to do more in the coming years.
